Lofty volumetric divider & RotaBall eccentric rounder
Maison SCHILD
We recently had the opportunity to speak with Jean-Sébastien Schild who not long ago has invested in our volumetric divider Lofty and the eccentric rounder RotaBall.
We are delighted to tell you a bit about his company and his experience of working with our machines.
The craft bakery "Maison SCHILD" has been established in the city center of Thionville in Moselle department (France) since 2011, with the production lab only one street away from the shop.
In addition to the production of bread and pastry for his shop, Mr SCHILD supplies many restaurants with buns for burgers and other catering products in the Moselle region and neighbouring Luxembourg.
The objective of Mr SCHILD’s investment was dictated by the desire to automate his ever-growing production, which could no longer be ensured by his manual rounding machine:
"With the MERAND bread making group I am currently producing up to 800 burger buns per day, and the demand is constantly growing. I particularly appreciate the time saving offered by this machine, it takes me four times less time than before to make my production. The comfort of working and the ease of use are also very appreciable. The excellent rounding quality is ensured by the pre-rounding system of the LOFTY volumetric divider and the final rounding of the RotaBall rounder. I am able to get the same bread quality and increase productivity by mechanizing my production”.
This equipment project was carried out and installed in collaboration with OMNIA Solutions, MERAND's long-standing partner in Alsace and Moselle.
