🌟 We had the pleasure of chatting with Alexi Mestdag, founder of the Stack Food company. This Belgian company is today a recognized partner of supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and cafes throughout Belgium with its fresh, organic and non-organic pizzas. 🍕✨

In order to optimize their production process, 4 months ago the company invested in the EasyLine MERAND automatic line, composed of the Lofty volumetric divider and the RotaBall eccentric rounder. And here's what they think:

Why did you decide to buy an automatic line?

🎤 Alexi: "Imagine making pizzas by hand, all day long. It was long, it was hard, and strong growth was unthinkable in these conditions. I even had problems with the joints in my hands by dint of manual balling, for me it was the signal that this way of operating had clearly reached its limit.

What types of constraints did you have before purchasing the line?

🎤 Alexi: "Our manual method was a real marathon for my hands and for the whole team. Result: stress, high costs and limited production. I needed to solve all of this to relieve my team, my finances, and increase my stress-free order book »

What were the main criteria for choosing the new line?

🎤 Alexi: "Quality was my priority. I wanted a machine that would do as well or even better than a human at rounding. And of course, increasing our productivity without hiring more staff was essential."

What results have you obtained with the MERAND line?

🎤 Alexi: "Everything is there! Increased production, maintained quality, and no need to recruit more staff. It's a significant investment but well worth it. I have absolutely no regrets. The MERAND RotaBall is incredible! It respects the dough, the production is smooth and fast. The dough pieces are uniform in weight and shape, exactly what I needed. The divider is simply perfect.

Would you recommend the MERAND line to your colleagues?

🎤 Alexi: "Yes, without hesitation! This line is a real growth engine for Stack Food. It is my biggest investment to date, but also the most profitable. I recommend it with my eyes closed."
