BMF Leader automatic bread line
We had the pleasure of talking with Yanick Berube, co-manager of the artisanal bakery "Au P'tit Four", located in Quebec. Founded in 1969 by Auguste Bérubé, the family business celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2020. Donuts, brioches, cakes without counting the varieties of bread, the Au P’tit Four bakery offers more than 200 products, each more delicious than the other. It supplies various local supermarkets and offers counter sales.
To ensure its production, in 2021 Mr Berube decided to replace his very old machine with MERAND equipment: “After so much time of use, we needed to change it for solid and durable equipment. We therefore bought several MERAND machines to have an automatic production line: Lofty volumetric divider, BMF Leader automatic proofer, Tregor vertical moulder and RotaBall rounder”.
The choice to opt for MERAND equipment was natural: “We were in contact with Distribution Doyon, with whom we get along very well, who advised us directly to contact MERAND. The company's machines really allow a production of artisanal quality which is important for us, with quality materials”.
Despite a fairly specific production in Quebec, Yanick was able to count on the versatility of his production line, and on the compactness of the group: "I really appreciated the fact that the machines were compact because I was able to obtain a great gain in terms of space. I really appreciate my RotaBall rounder which works very well!".
We warmly thank Mr Berube and the whole team of the "Au P'tit Four" bakery for the trust placed in MERAND and wish him all the best for the future. A big thank you also to Mr Doyon, from Distribution Doyon, for the professionalism on this project!
