MERAND decided not to exhibit at the 2022 Sirha Europain trade show

MERAND has chosen NOT to exhibit at the Sirha Europain trade show which will be held in Paris Porte de Versailles at the end of January 2022.

Despite an uncertain health situation, we exhibited at Sirha trade show in Lyon (France) at the end of September 2021 and noted, like everyone else, a big drop in the number of visitors (-35%).

For the first time since the creation of the show, we will not be exhibiting at Europain.

MERAND makes more than 50% of its turnover internationally and it is therefore crucial for us to find the best way to stay in touch with our clients. In 2020-2021 we have organized many webinars and given the success we are going to continue organising new ones in 2022.

On the other hand, since the activity has been very sustained for several months now, we have been constantly increasing delivery times. We are now announcing delays of more than 6 months for certain bread lines.

All these reasons together with the uncertainty of the trade show attendance, especially by foreign visitors, led us to make this difficult decision.

In 2022, MERAND decided to organise more targeted meetings at its new Baking Lab. This brand new demonstration center will allow us to organize in 2022 presentations and demonstrations adatped to our clients’ needs.
